In addition to the stated goals, we introduced a RESPONSIVE DESIGN to increase legibility on mobile devices. The ability to easily navigate the website on mobile devices improved viewership and decreased the bounce rate, making the St. Rose website an effective communication tool.
The demographics were surprising as well with
85% of users being over the age of 34. This result belied the preconception that "only the kids" were using the internet to interact with the Church online. As for gender,
68.5% were female. 71% of users were local to the parish.
